Alright, buckle up, because I've got a theory – when you're searching for a local wedding photographer, you're not just browsing, you're on a quest to find THE one. And hey, I get it, which is why I throw in a little something extra for all my soon-to-be newlyweds – a complimentary engagement session, because let's face it, you need to know what you're getting into before the big day rolls around.

Now, some of my fellow photographers have raised an eyebrow or two at this gesture, muttering things like "Isn't that a total waste of your time?" or "You should be charging for those sessions, mate, you're not running a charity!" But here's the thing – we're not on the same page. For me, it's not just about snapping a few shots; it's about forging a bond between you and me, laying the foundation for some epic wedding day magic.

Why is it so darn important, you ask? Well, picture this – you're standing in front of the camera, nerves buzzing like a beehive, but then you remember our little pre-wedding shindig. We've already shared a joke or two, had a laugh, and had a good ol' heart-to-heart – and just like that, you're feeling like a million bucks, ready to strike a pose and werk it like a pro.

And hey, don't just take my word for it – take a gander at some of the snapshots from my recent engagement sessions. See those smiles? That's not just camera magic; that's genuine, unadulterated joy, all because we took the time to connect before the big day.

Charlotte & Matt

I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte and Matt for the first time at Hartshill Hayes Country Park near the village of Hartshill in northern Warwickshire, in between the towns of Nuneaton and Atherstone.

Tash & Laurence

Tash, Laurence and myself met Haden Hill Park, Cradley Heath, an historical victorian landscape with a Victorian Mansion and Tudor Hall. The landscape offers stunning views of the surrounding area. It has children's play areas, bowling greens, ornamental lakes and formal garden areas.

Mike & Monika

The three of us had fun at Northycote Farm, Wolverhampton, a Tudor farmhouse and tearoom. Such a pretty walk to woods at the back of the farm area where the animals are .

Wendy & Neil

We had a right laugh when we met, on a baking hot day, in Walsall's Arboretum.

Don't just take my word for it either. Here's what some of my customers have to say about the engagement shoots;

DID YOU ENJOY THE COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH MATT?

"Absolutely- it gave us a good idea of his style and was nice to get to know him first" - Kate and Ash, Coventry.

"Yes, it really helped us feel relaxed when it came to the big day, as we now had some experience in front of the camera" - Chris and Rose, Oswestry.

HOW DID MATT MAKE YOU FEEL AT THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

"The engagement session was a good way for us all to meet and it was good for us to discuss what we wanted from our wedding day. The engagement shot allowed us to experiment with some styles of pictures we may wish to use at the wedding. We also had the opportunity to tell matt what we wanted from our day and what pictures we wanted" - Julia and Chris, Solihull.

"Almost instantly, we felt at ease with Matt. We laughed and joked the whole way through. It felt as if we'd known him for years!" - Kate and Ash, Coventry

"Relaxed and less awkward in front of the camera. We liked how Matt suggested scenes and settings but also asked for our input" - Chris and Rose, Oswestry.

Now, let's talk brass tacks – how much would you fork out for an engagement session like the one I offer? I asked a few of my lovely brides, and they reckoned anywhere between £250 and £300 would be fair game. Well, guess what? I'm here to break the news – the actual price tag for an engagement session without booking your wedding with me? A cool £199.

So, are these complimentary engagement sessions the real deal? You bet your bottom dollar they are! Because when it comes to capturing your love story, I'm not just in it for the snapshots – I'm in it to make memories that'll last a lifetime. So let's make some magic happen – together.

You've stumbled upon a wedding photographer extraordinaire – yep, that's me, the man behind the lens, based right here in the heart of the Black Country, but hold on to your hats, 'cause my lens doesn't just focus on Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton folk tying the knot; oh no, we're talking the entire West Midlands, baby, with a sprinkle of Shropshire, a dash of Staffordshire, and just a stone's throw from the buzzing cityscape of Birmingham. And hey, if you're feeling adventurous, we can even venture into the lush greenery of Worcestershire and the charming vibes of Warwickshire.

Now, picture this: nestled on the doorstep of Staffordshire, we've got ourselves a wedding wonderland, with venues popping up left, right, and center – from the rustic charm of The Barns to the elegant allure of The Ashes Barns and Country House, Weston Hall, and everything in between.

But let's not forget about Wolverhampton itself – oh no, this city's got its own gems waiting to be discovered. Whether you're saying "I do" at the picturesque The Mount Hotel or the Bridal Barn, there's something for every couple. And let's not overlook the likes of Pendrell Hall Exclusive Country House Wedding Venue and Park Hall Hotel & Spa – trust me, the options are endless.

Now, let's talk style – I'm all about that documentary vibe, capturing those real, raw moments without making you strike a pose. You go ahead and enjoy your big day, and I'll be there, ninja-style, snapping away without you even noticing. Yep, consider me the stealth photographer of your dreams – blending in like a chameleon, but with a camera instead of camouflage.

And hey, if you fancy venturing a bit further out, we've got some stellar venues on the radar – think Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel, Shustoke Farm Barns - Cripps & Co, and Fazeley Studios. So whether you're a Wolverhampton local, a Brummie Bride to be or a couple on the hunt for the perfect wedding photographer near you, I'm your guy. Give me a holler, and let's make some magic happen!
